- Having been a Special Education teacher since 1985, I have been honored to work with many MIGHTY SOULS of a mentally challenged and/or physically challenged nature. I have also worked with severe Learning Disabled and high functioning Autistic individuals.
I am also the webmistress of Portals of Spirit, a spirituality website. A Level 2 Reiki Practitioner (primarily long distance energy sends), I also hold a Crystal Healing Practitioner diploma from Stonebridge College in the UK.
I am the author of several e-books, all of which can be located on my website.
I see part my mission as making a measurable positive difference on our world. The quality of our world depends upon the quality of our thoughts as individuals. If the majority of individuals are positive and successful, then society itself will naturally be positive, successful, and prosperous. By comparison, if the majority of people are negative, hateful, and unsuccessful, then people will live in unhappy, unsuccessful, perhaps even dire circumstances.
In keeping with As a Man Thinketh ... so, too, a Society Thinketh. It really is simple cause and effect.
WHEN THOUGHT IS CHANGED, FATE IS CHANGED. THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT THE FUTURE IS TO CREATE IT.
When you look at it this way, it is as if we each have an individual responsibility to be positive and to help others be positive.
If you take it upon yourself to condition your mind be positive, to help other people, to be successful, to fill your life with happiness, then I will have accomplished one of my primary objectives.
Likewise, if you any able to share information of my e-books with others, and they help them, then my purpose is fulfilled.

Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP works on language and programming and hypnosis. It works with people to free them from limiting belief patterns, or problematic learned behaviour. It's very empowering. I did my first hypnosis session on the weekend and although my subject resisted, on the 3rd attempt, he had no choice but to go into trance. I did a womb healing with him as we traced his initial problem back to the womb. I'll have to wait and see how much things change for him. Sorry it's taken me so long to write back, I was very behind in my studies and have been working hard to catch up. I can't remember if I told you before, I'm studying Hypnosis and NLP online for twelve months, a free course, but very full on. I'm learning so much from it though. You asked if I could share some of my meditation techniques with you but I don't actually use conventional techniques, I create my own. I'm a very visual person so it's easy to tune in and let the spirit take me where I need to go. One meditation I did use for releasing repressed emotion goes like this:
I lie flat across the bed, drop my head back over the edge and place crystals all down the front of me over the chakra points. I put on headphones and listen to a track of music that just flows. I focus on my breathing until I'm totally entranced by the peace within and I bring up the visualisation for elimination which goes like this:
I see myself in 2 forms, one lying down with eyes closed, which I'll call person 1 and 1 standing over, which I'll call person 2.
Person 2 summons forth the emotion I wish to release, lets say fear for this example. As person 2 summons up the fear, it rises from person 1 in a dark cloud that hovers over person 1. Person 2 starts at the feet and begins to roll up the dark black cloud like a roll of turf. Person 2 rolls up the cloud, up over the legs, the pelvis, the stomach, the chest, over the neck, up the face, and out the crown chakra. The roll is then placed into a sack on the ground with the letters FEAR written in big black letters on the sack. Person 2 then rolls up the cloud from the fingers, up over the forearms and biceps, over the shoulders, up the side of the head and out the crown chakra, and into the sack, noticing the letters on the bag again. Person 2, turning back to look at person 1 can see there are still remnants of black cloud hovering so she turns to the sack and attaches it to a vacuum and sucks the remaining black cloud into it. Then she ties it up tightly and notices a red lighter in her hand so she lights the sack on fire, watching as it goes up in smoke and the letters on the sack burn and dissolve. As the last puff rises up, I tune in and feel it all gone. All that is left is a pile of ashes on the ground and as we want to eliminate all traces of the negative emotion, there is now a dustpan and broom in person 2's hands and she sweeps up the ashes and places them in another sack. She then hands the sack to a pelican and watches as it flies off. I tune in here and feel it completly gone. Person 2 now turns to person one. With the release a void has been left and needs to be filled so person 2 now noticing that coloured sparks are coming from her hands, uses the colours to represent positive emotion that she now puts into person 1. Starting at the head, she might imagine the colour pink, which stands for love, and she moves a pink cloud from the head down to the feet. Next she might imagine white light, which represents peace, and she moves this emotion down from the head to the feet.
You can do this with as many colours as you want and give them your own representations.
I used this meditation almost daily last year releasing repressed emotion and I can say for a fact, it works. It has certainly cleared my mind and my life of a lot of baggage I had been carrying for a long time.
